But we understand that paint looks different in different lighting conditions. That’s why we hand you the green tape and ask you to go crazy with it.
That’s right. After we leave, look at your painted walls, doors, and trim at various times of day. If there is anything that bothers you, mark it with the green tape. We’ll return and touch up every single spot until you’re smiling.
At A Burst of Colour, we combine years of experience with the very best painting products to help you transform the look and feel of your home.
For walls, we use premium Benjamin Moore paints. Although we’ve worked with many other interior paints over the years, we haven’t found anything better than Benjamin Moore Regal and Benjamin Moore Aura for walls. Occasionally for certain colours, we use Walls Alive products.
For doors and trim, we’ll give you a couple of samples in the colour of your choice. We use industrial urethane hybrid coatings. They have a balanced elastic to hardness ratio, as opposed to conventional latex products found in most retail stores.
We’ll go over the pros and cons of the various products available when we talk about your doors and trim.
Your home and furnishings are important. That’s why we put a lot of effort into our prep work.
We move all the furniture for you and then use paper and plastic to protect flooring, countertops, etc. By “bagging off” the rooms we’re working in, we minimize dust and its potential impact on you and your family.
